Romantic Novel Book Cover Design

Reform Creative was tasked with designing book covers for a sequence of four romantic novels by the independent author Adele Lea.

The Abigail’s Fate series are a thematically linked series of four books.

Reform’s approach was to take each story in the sequence as part of an overall theme, from Broken through to Mended.

Each cover had a central, powerful image symbolising the narrative shape of the individual novel.

However, it was also important for the reader to see the connection between all four.

Therefore, there was a use of dark backgrounds and the same dynamic typography throughout.

The aim of the designs has been to create something that is distinctive to each book, but also works as a whole, creating a compelling brand for the entire Abigail’s Fate sequence.
