About this project
Warrington BC – Business Property Review Design
The document, an annual report detailing the changes to property in Warrington, was not achieving any real engagement with the target audience.
The brief was to produce a document that would bring the content to life and be visually stimulating. There were a few restrictions included within the brief:
• A4 preferred size
• The corporate colours of red and black must be used
Reform recommended that the colour palette should be extended and introduced a bright green to represent the geographical area.
The document was changed from a portrait to a landscape format giving it a completely different dynamic. The inclusion of a die-cut ‘w’ throughout the whole document added to the publications interest. Headlines throughout the document either began or ended with the letter ‘w’ and were positioned to utilise the cut out ‘w’. Creative concepts for the data were introduced in the form of image or icon based charts to avoid pages of tabular text.
